never surfed up that way but school obligations has me in orlando for a bit so thats often the best option. are the crowds as bad as they say??

Beware of high tides! I got many cars stuck in the 80s. Sometimes had to wait until the tide went out.

Same as what Dave said. It doesn't hurt to bring along some supplies to get yourself unstuck. Basically, if high tide pushes you up onto the soft sand, don't stop moving unless there's a sunbather in your way.
