Thanks Rio, just updated it in my post.

"Summer Fish" reminds me of "Beautiful Summer Ducks", French naturalist André Michaux's name (actually le beau canard d'été ) for wood ducks, which of course avoid salt water.  But Michaux did make it to Brevard, and he shipped live beau canards to France, where they evidently had lots of beautiful babies. 

Then there's Mardy Fish, but he's something different.  

Ikea sells summer pickled fish.
