I'm confused... I have a 11ft board that I surf on, is that too big to race? Or is the 10'6" size only for the youngest division?

You can paddle the 11' in the open prone division.

I know it's for fun and a good cause, but what kind of times typically win each age division for 1/2 mile paddle?  I'm curious...

Well... we don't really keep records and the conditions vary so much year to year that it wouldn't tell you much.

This is always such a fun day! I hope it is calm and glassy because it makes it easier for us in the Social Security division!

I saw this today in my news feed and recalled you asking about paddle speed (time).

Ah ha -  was wonder why such a short distance - this is event is a SUP event without the paddle  , prone paddling

Going to pass, my shoulders are already beat up as it is , saving them for surfing

Have fun

I see 3 mile SUP mentioned in the opening post with categories for surf sup and race sup so I don't think that it is restricted to prone.
