There's a few shapers where you're looking at 6+ months minimum to get your custom, and even then you may not know where to begin or how it'll end up... Or you can get real lucky and come across the perfect Pavel online and have it in a week.

Still gots some good Koa. But, I'm working on a fixture/tool to be able to lay-up the Futures base with a standard 6 degree cant. I've made a "hand made" steel tool, but the cant is not symmetrical between a left and right fin lay-up; I can "work" with it, but it is not optimal.

Anyone out there have access to a break press and 16 gauge steel?

Larenyou, As much as I love The work of Rick Pavel He is one of the shapers that I would never order from. He has a very bad rep for Taking deposits then keeping people waiting I mean waiting and waiting.  Order a Board and you may not see it for 6 months maybe more.  From what I understand it's not so much that is is scaming people as it is he isa crappy business man. Making Promises and not returning calls is no way to do thing. He gets away with it by being one of the best there is.  Also You would not be saving anything on ordering direct. Bro deals yeah right.  Rich is expensive and his boards sell.  They hit the shop and they are gone in short order.
