Nice waves, super clean..... and not much colder than NE FL right now

I'm jealous...... aside from maybe getting caught inside of one of those and getting your suit flushed

most guys riding 7-0ish?

That wave looks heavy as f@#$! and cold! Nice shots!  Are these your shots or are you in them?  What board you like for those conditions?

Hats off.  Takes some gusto to surf those waves  Be interested to hear which board you like best considering I see mini guns and shortboards in the pics.

The guys catching the biggest waves are out there on boards in the 8ft range. I've only got a 6-10 Quiet Flight step up I'm using right now and definitley felt under gunned. The swell period was 22 seconds so the waves move fast and you really need some extra foam to get in early. No pics of me guess it didn't really happen

The Inertia.  More info and pics, though bob's pictures pretty much cover it.

I surfed OB for the first time in October when I was out there for work. It was a freak day....almost 80 degrees, no clouds, offshore winds and waves that were good size, but not monsters. 4/3 wetsuit, no booties or hood needed. Maybe 8' to 10' faces on the sets. Rented a board at a shop on Sloat street and had a blast. Crowds weren't bad at all...I just moved down the beach a bit. It was like being on vacation in Central America except for the 4/3

Getting ready to paddle out there now. Surfline is calling it 5-8'. Last weekend I made the trip to Santa Cruz (about 90 min south). Overhead and clean. Missing the warm water though.

If any of ya'll come out this way, I'll hook you up with a board to ride, an extra suit, and some booties (size 10). You buy the beers post surf.
