Just did my first ever surf trip and wanted to say thanks for previous threads recommending Villa Tropical in Aguadilla/Isabella. What a perfect set up for a surf trip. We flew in at noon last Thursday and were in the water by 2. Best waves I've ever had. We surfed non-stop and I've never been more worn out, ever. Sets ranged from 1' over - double overhead and got 200-300 yard long right handers. Being able to turn 5-6 times on a wave is nuts. I will never forget taking a that long, drawn out bottom turn to try and lose speed and come back around to see a crystal clear glass wall of a wave and see right through to the reef as you hit it and roller coaster back down. Unbelievable. Anyway I'm glad everone had fun. Thanks again to those to who recommended Villa Tropical and Charlies car rentals. Both solid choices. Some of the volcom team was out there when we were out including Quincy Davis who was killing it. I didn't know who she was until someone told me later. She can surf! Hit wilderness, jobos, and sandy's down on the rincon side. Shacks was the best though so we hit that a lot. Jobos was super fun too and we got it Sunday morning with no one out except the 3 of us.
