Saturday Afternoon

Lot of pictures....
...but there are some "important" pictures
and sequences that
( I feel ) need to be shared.

Clean and Glassy....

It was like the same wave,
wave after wave....

Ohhh, this is the same wave

...and there were some very nice LEFTS

I saw Jessica the next morning ( today, Sunday)
and she definitely remembered this wave....

Ohhh yes, she remembered that wave
...said she can laugh at herself too..

caught a rail or a knee ....or something.

So STOKED he made this,
and .... he well should be !!

Saw him this am,....didn't know I had captured it....

redemption

What a GREAT DAY

You bet! These were taken at the streets probably around 11 when it wasn't as clean. A good size swell.

Brother, when you get a minute, could I get a list of the words that trigger these fits?

Hey. Where are we going? (And what are we doing in a hand-basket?)

Nice shots Sunrise! Saw you taking pictures right as I was paddling out. There were so many waves out there. The kid with the white rashguard kept half paddling for waves that he was out of position for and caving in the first section. Whoever you are: If you see this, stop doing it! Some of the bigger ones you needed all the speed you could get and going around a section made it impossible.

In his defense, there was lots of waves that went unridden where either the tide was filling in and it made it wonky or there were folks that had noodle arms and couldnt pull that last stroke to get into the wave.

And the dude on Sunday afternoon that was just to the south of the crossover screaming the f bomb cause someone got in his way paddling back out and tried to bash the lip as the dude was duck diving under, you can go f yourself, go surf somewhere else. Everyone was laughing at you.

Anyway, saturday was magical. Wish we got that more than once a year.

That might have been me paddling back out. Didn't hear an f-bomb though cause I was under water trying to get out of the way of both him and the wave.

I got yelled at also. Guy burned me 2 waves in a row, I got washed in and got in his way getting back out. He got so mad that he left. I got a good laugh out of that. Beautiful weekend, so glad you all scored! Can't believe people are so angry out there. So much more fun Saturday morning, it was twice as big, clean and I had it all to myself. Sunday was a bonus day for me.

Very nice photos, and many thanks for catching me on that quick closeout coverup sequence (the right, in blue/yellow trunks). I try to get my wife out to shoot, but she always shows up when I am leaving, or after it is good.

If you can get that mad on such beautiful waves on such beautiful days, you need to get off the crack pipe.

I did see Dan catch what was probably the biggest set wave of the day. I had a great view of him ripping down the line as I was scratching for the horizon. Nice wave!
