So im always ready when waves come and an above average skill level, however i really am pissed about how this last event played out.

Should have gone out during the chop fest early in the week just for the workout but didnt.  Missed the better conditions weds am. Finally went out thurs and performed miserably. I put on 10lbs in last 2 months and felt slow and way off my game.

Anyway im not gonna let it happen again. Im always the guy that does these things right but it was a  real eye opener. At 40 you cant take for granted that youll be on point when the time comes. Congrats to all who scored...

End of rant

I feel for ya. Felt I was 'half in this one' too. I never get sick but got a head cold just in time for this one and it really affected me. But your words are wise for sure. Timing of this one didn't help either did it. Flat flat flat flat flat HURRICANE SWELL.

Brother, when you get a minute, could I get a list of the words that trigger these fits?

Hey. Where are we going? (And what are we doing in a hand-basket?)

Florida Rule #1: If waves, then paddle out.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

Yes it never really got that good up here in N fla but was good enough.  My girl got one pic on Thursday when I was out at Vilano.  Maybe it was the fact that you had to paddle the entire time to stay in position..was beat after 2 hours
