Wabasso and the rest of IRC has close to 15' visability!  High tide is best and the afternoon seabreeze stirs up the first reef a bit, but it's well worth making the drive.

Golden Sands Park, 4 miles South of the Inlet has a reef that's just a frisbee toss from shore with brain coral, worm rock and coquina ledges that are loaded with fish and beauty. Get on it now!!

This post is awsome,  Hittin' golden sands tomorrow!  thX !

teeny wahine-  Brain coral and worm rock mostly , it's a pretty sick reef, not the keys or anything, but plenty of different kinds of fish, last time I saw Parrot fish and Snook just chillin.

State park ends at the waters edge... as long as your 100 yrds off the beach and not in the inlet your okay

Right on! Thanks for the info. I'm coming down from Tallahassee (to Melbourne) for the Shuttle launch; I'll definitely bring my gear for a dive Saturday. Holler if anyone wants to meet.
