Rudy ghoulianni just admitted this morning that trump had contacts with the Russians to build his Moscow hotel right up to the election. Rudy Rudy Rudy. This isn't damage control, it's just damage. Now you have to believe that either Cohen lied on his own, lied for trump at trump's behest or that he told the truth, which is what ghoullianni tried to do today even as he himself admitted the later contacts all the way up to the election. So let's take a step back here and talk about the buzzfeed article. Buzzfeed reported that trump directed Cohen to lie. Cohen will probably not admit that. Mueller says that's too much. The inference that buzzfeed made was that because trump was compromised by these contacts, he had to conceal them. He therefore directed Cohen to lie about those contacts. That's not necessarily true. What is true is that trump was actively speaking to Russians to work some kind of deal to create a Moscow trump tower. It's also been reported that trump was willing to offer Putin, the Bond villain actively seeking to undermine and hack our elections during the same time. So you might believe we are Charlie Brown, but seriously, Lucy, you have some splaining to dooo....
