1% has like 90% of the wealth, so the future is socialist or barbarism. Your personal firearms won't be enough to protect you. The proliferation of firearms means the poor are well armed too. Bullets don't care if they come from a Dan Wesson 1911 or a Hi-point.
You and I have probably seen the only revolutions that are going to occur in the U.S. in our lifetimes - the elections of Reagan and Trump. Americans, collectively, understand that we should stick with what got us to where we are and that throwing that out the window would ruin us. So every now and again, we elect a Reagan or Trump to undo the damage that progs have done.
Are the poor going to revolt? No, because we don't have any poor, except those who choose to be.
