Last sunday we fished in 150-160. Current and conditions were great but the wind kept dying and shifting so staying on the spot was still tough as pulling the anchor is no fun(even with a ball).

We got 5 nice scamps, I got my first yellowmouth grouper about 18lbs, 7 mangs most 5-8lbs a mutton a few triggs and bees two lion fish 3 graysby and more jacks than I care to see again including two giants probably over 70-80lbs one is pictured below, big enough to get a pic of before release. This day they wanted small live sardines and cigars, grunts or cutbait didn't get touched which is weird for that area and caused us to miss a lot of fish due to not having enough smaller 5/0 hooks.

Tons of good eats for 3 man crew the grouper meat is like cotton balls, feel free to make fun of my little bo peep look with the yellowmouth sun was brutal!

NICE! Yeah my buddy in JAX is always showing me pics of all these nice muttons he catches in 160'. Scamps are definitely the best eating of the grouper family! Figured it would be a bit bumpier than that with the way the wind blew fri-sat...... I was so sore after surfing my ass off wed-fri I dont think I could handle that, esp that reef donkey

Yea it was a rally for sure! Those scamps are a little finicky but seem to love those deep rocks
