I tried throwing plugs and jigs off canaveral jetty friday no bites, not much going on but water looked good moving around the tip with the wind driven current. Saturday we fished some shrimp off the tide pool rocks and got a couple nice sheepies, but nothing else. I blame the dolphins there were about three just going nuts in the tide pool probaly not a snook or snapper within a mile due to that,,,,,,or that my excuse anyway also tried ocean side of south jetty maybe for pompano but kept getting tangled with people so called it hahah

Still funky. Still weeds through most of the tide. Some bait coming through, but not in numbers. I think I saw about eight snook caught and one guy toting a keeper around like it was a first place trophy. All the fish I saw caught came on live bait, but I think it's more because the weeds kept the lure/jig chuckers from fishing, than livies being the only choice.

wow I saw a video on youtube from "joey antonelli" where he dives the tip of north jetty and showed a bunch of cubera and goliaths(along with snook) around the pylons and rocks at the tip super cool!

Bait is thick. I filled a cooler with Pilchards and Greenies in an hour last night (Saturday). A few snook were coming in and some long, but really skinny Bluefish. No weeds really and the water was nice. It was slow for the amount of bait, but I imagine it will become uncorked as the month progresses.
