Although used to be a secret I think this section is pretty secluded lol.

We got on them good last week off daytona/flagler until the ponce fleet AND the NE FL fleet found out lol.

Hope this cold snap spreads them out a bit, anyone going after them?

They ran by us in a few days. 90 degrees everyday kinda screwed the pooch.

They were in the 100' mark off St. Aug..... radically fluctuating surf temps with the winds have made em hard to find. May try tommorrow

I saw some boats searching off of Cocoa Beach today, but I skinned it and was warm, so the water has to be in the mid 70's, if not higher.

Well we went far off and trolled the ledge off St A yesterday.... 4 dolphin. (3 smaller ones and one 30#er) a decent king (15#?)... missed some sails and prob small tunas and lil mahi. Had a wahoo (?) chew through the cedar plug leader (SMOKED IT) Finally convinced my buddy to drop on a mark we saw at the end of the day and pulled up about 8 Bee-liners and 2 nice trigs

Fresh fish! Good thing I don't live closer or I'd be standing at the end of your drive way waiting for you to toss me a bag of fillets.

Prob one of the best tasting inshore fish IMO

sheepies are good but they have massive ribs so unless you cut through them and pull them out after cooking(which is easy as they are pretty big) you have to go above them which leaves a pretty wimpy fillet IMO.

these big ones looked like mini red snapper fillets, they do have some blood close to the skin, so I remove it, but definitely not a "fishy" fish.

this little cold blow should make the next fish able days interesting in terms of where they may be!

I doubt it will get cool enough to move back south of the cape, but you guys might get them stacked at the 68 to 70 degree line.

They should be, may be worth trying early in the morning and looking for wakes and wings as you wont get much viz from the yak for subsurface cruisers. We got one in 15' of water off flagler last weekend.

heard there's been a few but pretty scarce overall....... went offshore saturday. Troll was pretty slow. A few blackfins (and a few stupid fish). Did turn a bonito into some bottom fish later in the day.... I had fun with the Almacos on a darter jig on the spinning rod. We lost a cobe by the boat

there have been rays from Ponte vedra to talbot but with the offshore wind they are not cruising up top but playing right in the surf shallow and not many fish on them. My buddy got a few shorts sunday but said most rays didnt have fish, seems they hate the 904 LOL
