Excel is moving its warehouse and so, right now is offering a bunch of expensive suits at 30% off. As if $300's a bargain.Jack's Surfboards, the Huntington Beach retailer, has the same prices, possibly offers a few that Excel doesn't and tends not to charge sales tax and maybe not shipping. I think they still like thick fuzzy lining, something I don't like. But slippery insides tend to be on luxury or at least expensive brands: Isurus, Feral, Matuse. To some extent, Buell, but they seem to have stopped offering my size. I think Isurus is still offering prices around $350-400 for a couple of discontinued 3/2 and 2/2 models.

In XLS (and one LS), I'm overloaded at 3/2 thanks to Matuse having a ridiculous low price on a great suit for swimming (Dojo), which takes the pressure off of the main surfing ones, including another bargain, a hooded Patagonia. Once in a while, a deep clearance hits a sometimes hard to get size. So if Buell, DaKine, Hurley (pre takeover), even a Volcom are of interest...
Isurus still has 30% off their old-model 3/2, which was still almost $400. Cleanline probably just ended a good but not spectacular sale.

Let me know if you see a wild dakine sale, I want their 5/3 bz in xxls.
Also, still have your zipless 6/4 sitting around. Hope all is well, hip finally making real progress

I think the incredible low prices for Dakine must have reflected a major failure to sell. I was half expecting them to quit the wetsuit business. The only XXLS's I have left are a Matuse (I can't tell the difference between it and more or less the same item in XLS) and a non-hooded DaKine Cyclone zipperless. My closet inventory says it seemed hard to get on & off.

I thought my reply hadn't posted, so the duplicate isn't needed. Things are getting creaky.

I tried mightily to squeeze into that that dakine 6/4 xxls zipless....and failed badly.
And if I actually got it on, getting out would need a wardrobe assistant....and some tools
Like wrestling a really strong rubber octopus....needed a rest break.
If no one wants it, I'm busting out the blade and put in a back zip
zipless suits suck

Ha!!! If it had a hood I would consider. Yes zipless are a trick to get in at 65 years old. once in they are about as warm as Ive been in 38 degree water. Thanks you guys for the 2 dakine's. Let me know if ya gots any 3/2's. No back zips. Im sold on front or no zip.

For whatever reason, DaKine's zipless worked OK for me, despite the left arm still being a bit sticky (needs more therapy-type stuff). But yeah, some wetsuits work, others inexplicably don't. I'm lately doing well with most but Rip Curl was an utter failure and I should have had an insert made to get an otherwise fine O'Neill chest zip to work. I absolutely couldn't get the top piece to get within 2 inches of the bottom zip.

O'Neill, unusual for them, has a modest sale.

For summer, Quiksilver, one of the zombie brands run by Authentic Brands, Inc. (which may explain why Greg Norman brand is now selling Shark board shorts), has a big sale and their most expensive board short is down to $40.
Tried mine today, construction largely stitch with wetsuit-style BemisT 4000 tape on the inside. Tiny holes in a grid pattern on the legs below the crotch. Outseam is 19" (I measured)
I'm liking clearance-sale stuff: Katin traditional nylon with snaps for the fly, Florence Cordura® nylon.
