My daughter just bought her first house and her garage is BARE. She has no yard or garden tools or house tools. So, I am looking to help her out with some decent used ones. Specifically, loppers, clippers, hoe, square and round shovels, leaf and garden rakes, hoses, etc. Also, any common household tools of decent quality (Craftsman, Stanley, etc) - pliers (common, needle nose, channel locks), vise grips, drain auger (20-25 ft), sockets/ratchets, screw drivers, nut drivers, squares, hammers, wrenches (crescent, box, open, combination), hacksaw, etc, etc, etc. If you have any you are getting rid of or if your parents are moving into a smaller home, etc., I'm your guy. And, thanks!

Lowe's for the tools n such, I remember they have some cheap kinda starter kit tool boxes for sale (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers etc). Since it's home improvement and nothing heavy also try Harbor Freight.

yeah, in this scenario a trip to Harbor Freight for some basic home owner hand tools to get started may not be a bad call

mom just passed away in Daytona. I'll take a pic of what is there this weekend and get back to you. I have a whole house to excavate now.

Pompano, sorry to hear of your loss... I lost my Mom 7 years ago, and it was the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with...thoughts and prayers with you brother ...

Garcia, if you are in need of a good lawn mower and edger, I am looking to get rid of both at a good price; pm for details

Thanks, Palmtree. I will ask my daughter. There is a chance that she bought my brothers, but, I'm not sure.

pompano, I would be interested in the garden rake and shovel. Where are you located? Daytona is a pretty long drive for that, but, if you are also selling the flip flop, that could make it all worth it! Thanks again.

lol. I'm in Indialantic. I grew up in Daytona. I'll bring back the shovel and garden rake (short, hard back or leaf one?). Those are actually OP leather slaps (20+ years old) in pristine condition. Found them in my dad's closet. Good eye. Size 10. PM me your phone. It will be next weekend till I can get back there.

Pompano, The shovel and the hard back rake. I am in beautiful downtown Mel Bch. Now for a dumb question - how do I send a PM to you. I know how to read and respond to those I have received, but...
