Thank your the technical assistace. The racks are thule aeroblade bars so they run quiet when on the road. I only took them down to show off the car better but they easily install in about 5 minutes.

Pretty cool..... you do the work yourself? When I was younger my dad would get the JCWhitney catalog mailed to the house..... I'd always flip through the beetle and jeep parts wanting to redo an old on (before I even had a drivers license ha)
