I am looking for a Hansen Mike Doyle Model bolt-thru Fin and hardware. Recently snagged a vintage board, and it did not have a fin.

If you can't find anything, I have some sailboard fin blanks I could shape to something close and thread it.
Do you have the screw so I could duplicate the threads? ------------------------- spindrift |

I had the same situation years ago with a Hansen. Those fins are hard to come by!
I wound up lining the fin box on the Hansen with wax paper. (you could use masking tape if you want). I set the fin i wanted to use. When it was set in position, i filled the finbox with resin and cabosil. After that set, the fin came out easily. I drilled into the fin from the deck hole and set a screw told it in place. Worked great and didn't change the board/effect its value.... G ------------------------- Love God, Hate Sin... |
