They are demanding papers based entirely on skin color and ticketing US citizens for not carrying papers in Chicago.

But this is more proof, as if we needed any more proof, that our Supreme Court has been corrupted and castrated. 3rd - US citizens are not required to carry papers, but people like Legal Permanent Residents and those on a visa are.
They can't ticket a USC for not having ID.

The requirement for legal non-citizens is legit, but has never been enforced with a heavy hand. Most reasonable immigration and LEO folks will give you a chance go home and get your documents. Also, most carry copies as losing a Green Card is a huge hassle and very expensive to replace. I heard ICE will not accept copies any longer...because they want to use every excuse to detain people.
Cruelty is the goal.

I was right.

DHS says they have arrested over 1500 people in Illinois, many of whom are pedophiles, viscous gang members, and armed robbers....yet they have only released info on 10 men with documented criminal backgrounds. If they had more they would have release it all because they want to spike the ball.
Most of the people they are arresting have no criminal history, no warrants, no probable cause except they are brown which our supreme court says is good enough.

ICE is just driving around looking for people they "think" might not have documentation.
This guy is an American Citizen, and he told them that and they still took him down, snatched him off the street, detained him for hours, and then released him 1/2 mile away from where they detained him.
No warrants, a USC, he didn't do anything or have any interactions other than walking on the sidewalk to his family's house.

And on the flip side is irony.

Here is a vid of a traffic stop and subsequent arrest of an off-duty ICE agent, who was reportedly driving recklessly while under the influence, with his two children in the vehicle, nonetheless.

First off, huge Kudos to the local Law Enforcement Officers (Monroe County Sheriff's Office) who pulled him over.
They were true professionals at their craft and gave this guy plenty of time, they explained what was happening and why they had suspicions he was drunk and did a great job deescalating the situation. The arresting officer was empathetic and said he himself had been arrested for DUI a couple years ago and tried to let him know it will be ok. After they decided to arrest him they even asked him to walk back to their car so his kids wouldn't see him being cuffed...but the ICE guy was a dick and they cuffed him where his kids could see.

This ICE idiot pulls the cop brotherhood card, the I am a Fed officer and better than you card, the I am a disabled vet with brain trauma card, the I am going through a divorce card, the my kids are everything card (yet he drove drunk with them in the truck), etc. etc. etc.
The then begs...literally begs for them not to arrest him, and starts crying like a baby.
Lies to them about his drinking, etc.
And then resists getting getting into the car and keeps asking why are you doing this to me????

I could feel bad for this ICE idiot, but notice that he called the black officer "homeboy" a few times and at the 6:20-ish mark asks if he is from Haiti, whereby the other officer says it doesn't matter where he is from, and the ICE idiot says yes is does as if he wants to check his citizenship status....REALLY? Not racist at all.
But this shows the mentality of a lot of the DEI ICE hires.
Fking sad.
And really sad that this dumb fk was driving around drunk with his kids in the car.
