http://www.npr.org/2025/07/09/...t-florida-immigration

>>The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday left in place a lower court decision that blocked part of a Florida law making it a crime for undocumented immigrants to cross into the state. The statute imposed various mandatory prison terms for violating the law.

The high court's action came in a one sentence order, without any elaboration and without any noted dissents.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the state legislation into law in February, and just two months later the law made national headlines when Florida's Highway Patrol arrested Juan Carlos Lopez-Garcia, an American-born U.S. citizen, for crossing into the state from Georgia. Lopez-Garcia was detained for 24 hours before his release...<<

It's good to remember here that DeSantis actually went to law school, and a good one too. It's easy to forget because he always pushing patently unconstitutional and poorly written grist for the faithful.

I'm surprised the majority didn't go to Trump for the decision.

From watermelons and cabbage, to hotels and roofs... just imagine having zero immigrant workers. Why not make a law that gives them work permits? That way they can be safer, pay taxes and provide the much needed labor.

Nope! Only TACO man can keep and "employ" undocumented immigrants at his Mar-a-Taco home.

Look at the Hoaxmeister, very concerned about farmers like me. I am honored. But don't worry about me, I have two American farm hands.

Why not a law that allows them to immigrate here legally and affordably?
I know why.
Just ask the likes of Steve Miller and Charlie Kirk.

Fact is, the percentage of immigrants residing in the US is less than 15%, the same percentage it was a hundred years ago.

As usual, progs are mad at success. Y'all need to let go of your envy. Just face the fact that you are dumb and lazy and will never experience success. Accept that and you will be happier people.

Happiness, that comes from "success"?
How long does that last?

No, prog. Happiness in your situation will come from accepting that you are losers and relinquishing the bitterness that you feel toward successful people. Envy will not bring happiness.

The spiritual bliss that comes from prostrating yourself at the foot of your orange messiah is something I will never know. It's great for you though.
