The markets are showing their support for Trump's economic plans this morning...by going down again.

But the good new is that the price of gold is going up...which typically means the economy is going to shit.

This is the one area I figured Trump would do OK and I wasn't horribly worried about the markets.

Trump has already caused massive damage and a shift in world attitude towards trade w America and the stability of the dollar.

He would need to publicly abandon his tariff fantasies and go on an international apology tour to even begin repairing the hole he put in the boat.

And did they really make a deal?
He even said the details have to be worked out...so we are back to the concept of a deal.
Trump can negotiate but can't really approve trade deals, those have to go through congress by vote.
Did Congress sign anything with the UK?

Trump promised 90 deals in 90 days...and he made a kinda sorta deal with the UK in about 30 days...he has another 89 deals to make with less than 60 days to go.
