From an aide to a senator who is going to support Hegseth.
"The best set of facts for Hegseth is he fucked a married woman while he was hammered in his hotel room and she was embarrassed and she came up with this story that he drugged her to hide it from her husband" said an aide to a senator who supports Hegseth's nomination. "Of course, when he says all that, he has to admit that his latest baby mama was taking care of his kid. And, oh yeah, he knocked her up while cheating on his second wife. And he cheated on his first wife with the second one". This is the caliber of Trump's appointees, and I hope he gets them all...or at least the rest of them...through. 
oh yeah, should add a few more beers since we are talking about Hegseth...

Gloat now pay later. They whole advice and consent thing was supposed to vet candidates who had the best qualifications. Now it's a chorus of castrata elevating a clown who promises to quit drinking if he gets the job. The funny part is that last month, there was a fear that all these Fox hosts, hacks, suck ups and loyalists would be affirmed with a recess appointment process that worked without congressional approval for fear the GOP might exhibit some traces of spine. Turns out that was wrong. The GOP is lined up and on their knees, ready to please the dear leader and his base.
