Vance's One-Sided Call To Tone Down 'Inflammatory' Rhetoric

Critics are calling out Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for demanding that "the left" tone down its rhetoric while taking little responsibility for the inflammatory comments from both himself and his running mate, Donald Trump.

Speaking after another apparent attempt on Trump's life, Vance called for a "reduction in the ridiculous and inflammatory political rhetoric."

"We cannot tell the American people that one candidate is a fascist, and if he's elected, it is gonna be the end of American democracy," he insisted.

Yet Trump has used that exact word ? "fascist" ? to describe Vice President Kamala Harris and also claimed she would be the end of the nation.

Trump has also called her a "radical left lunatic," "Marxist" and a "communist," among other things. He's claimed that Harris is trying to "destroy" the country and told supporters that if Harris wins, "you're not gonna have a country anymore."

Trump has also repeatedly called Democrats "enemies of the people," while both Trump and Vance have made false and inflammatory claims of immigrants stealing and eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.

Which one shared fake pictures of Kamala dressed in Russian red clothes?

In other news, an arsonist was quoted saying, "People need to stop setting fires!"

How much do you have to overlook to say that stupid shit? When Trump says the same stupid shit about Kamala being a fascist or when Trump told his rally he would pay the legal fees of anyone who punched the protesters, you said, and say now, nothing to condemn him. Your appeal is not to rules but to a double standard. It might work with MAGAts but adults treat your hypocrisy with the appropriate response. Maybe come back when the rules apply to everyone and you see why that's required.

Depends on the audience. The Ditz's audience is largely made up of insane and/or mindless people who accept their orders without question. See, e.g., the progs on this forum. That is the type that will go out and try to assassinate someone. And they do it all the time. Trump's audience, on the other hand, are sane and think for themselves. His rhetoric isn't going to inspire any of them to kill anyone. It's apples and oranges.
