If i was a government employee, I would be cheering for a government shutdown. They tell them not to come to work and then give them back pay for the unscheduled vacation. Oh the tragedy!

That's great, unless your power gets turned off or you need to eat. Paycheck to paycheck is very real, especially for low wrung government employees, military included, and they still have to go to work.
