As Trump's legal problems mount, ex-Secret Service agents wonder who would protect him in prison.
Trump would likely retain a Secret Service detail if he's in state or federal custody. The agents probably wouldn't share a cell with a convicted ex-president, but they could be nearby. ------------------------- Dora Hates You |

A Trump appointed judge approved a search warrant for Trump's appointed FBI Director to search for the public documents that belong to We the People, per the Presidential Records Act. The Act was passed in response to Richard Nixon's efforts to hide his criminal activities, and this search was executed on the same day Tricky Dick resigned. At least that pathetic crook had enough respect for the well-being of the nation to resign, rather than bring down the whole country trying to save his own fat ass like this clown and his minions spreading conspiracy bull shit.

Right now that person's name is Joe, not qonald..
Are you suggesting that qonald changed the security classifications so that he could bring those items home - before he left office? Why would need to change anything like that in the first place? What the fuck would he want with any 'classified' documents of ANY? level or kind in his house? Getting a 'copy' of a document etc is one thing, but (the only) 'originals'? WTF is going on here? Something to 'hide'? Or, Are you suggesting that Joe recently changed the security classification so that qonald's house could be raided? Yup - thought so.. puff puff - take a deep toke.. Wouldn't be surprised if the FBI had selected SS phones bugged weeks before this 'event' just in case there were 'backdoor' communications to move shit before when they were notified of the raid.. No why the fuck would the CIA want to do such an evil canaving thing? What actions by the SS would have led them to even think that something would/could go amiss with the SS having to get a 'heads up'?

Yep, have to wonder why he didn't have the docs declassified and transferred to the Trump Presidential Library.
And it is administered by the National Archives, a federal agency. https://www.trumplibrary.gov/ Currently the library has these books on the shelves for Trump's reading pleasure: Trump Presidential Library Catalog ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV Edited: 08/09/2022 at 09:24 AM by Bamboo |

Qrump probably took classified documents home. Who is the ULTIMATE authority for anything classified? WHO? Who can declassify ANYTHING? When you answer those two questions you will KNOW that you (and the FBI) are full of shit! FOOL! He could have declassified things and then walked out with them. But he didn't. That would have alerted the rest of the government as to what he was taking. Instead he just disappeared a bunch of still classified docs. That isn't legal and you have to wonder why he would hide the docs in his residence rather than use his office to officially declassify them. Yeah...no! "Our ruling "The minute the president speaks about it to someone, he has the ability to declassify anything at any time without any process." We found broad agreement that a president, using powers granted by the Constitution, is able to declassify essentially anything." All Trump literally had to do to declassify the documents (or whatever) when he took them was to say they were.... He needed no paperwork...no documentation...NOTHING! ------------------------- The REAL truth is....both of the forum idiots are OWNED. -BOTH of them have no clue who their owner is. -They are both card carrying narcissists. ^These are PROVED facts. Apparently many of these documents are so highly classified that the 'list' itself is classified, so you can't read the titles of these documents...
Have a hunch that there were not intended for public viewing in his 'library' BTW exactly where will his 'library' be located? Is it too 'premature' to tell where he will be 'living out his years'? Doubtless 'somewhere' - 'courtesy of the government'... the question is ... 'somewhere' of his choosing?

After MT Greene tweeted "DEFUND THE FBI!" in an apparent reaction to the news on Monday night, Steele responded in a quote tweet that,
"Trump failed to return classified docs requested by the National Archives. A federal judge issued a search warrant for probable cause of a crime. This is not some rando move by the FBI so you shitforbrains Republicans calling for 'defunding the FBI' for once try to be less stupid." that's Michael Steele, former chairman of the Republican National Committee ------------------------- "The truth is incontrovertible. malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -Sir Winston Churchill |

Gym Jordan tweets: "If they can do it to a former President, imagine what they can do to you."
Then gets roasted by Twitter. "When I try to overthrow the government, invalidate a free and fair election, illegally steal classified documents, and engage in lavish corruption as President, I'll expect them." ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

That's the thing. This wasn't a secret operation (like the Watergate break-in to which Trump compared it). It was a probable cause warranted seizure of documents that the government seemed to think that the former president did not have legal authority to possess. So what about that judge that signed the warrant?

I wish I could make cartoons. I'd draw one of a libtard bend over with Uncle Joe shoving it up their ass while they look at pictures of Trump. Its a perfect caricature of modern day libtards. ------------------------- "Its easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled" - Mark Twain Edited: 08/09/2022 at 11:53 AM by OBX |

Well Clarence Thomas has indicated that the 14th has been mis applied all over the place. Maybe we need to return to the way things were circa 1890 when men and women and minorities were all kept in the their proper place and businesses didn't have to worry about any burdensome regs.
