Pabs, by ignoring the human impact on the environment, we are collectively committing suicide. True you may live out your days as a yeoman farmer in Mims, but you are making the decision on behalf of your descendants to make their lives very unpleasant. Perfect. I am working to save humanity by destroying it. I might just have to commission a statute of myself on my farm so that roaches and whatever else survives will be able to assemble there to thank me. As progs and the Taliban will be vanquished, there will be no one around to tear it down. Scientific Fact CO2 is in reality a 'pollutant', 'defined'. or not, & esp if not done by 'true scientists' not bought & paid for by the fossil fuel industry.. , and by politicians - & esp when interpreted by scrotus type ilk..
Know it was your business specialty monitoring this type of stuff, but just saying... Know that regulating it is a mess, and not perfect by any means, but 'until better can be done, worse will prevail'.. Way Better than 'nothing', or 'free for all'..... Like I said the 'definition' of CO2 as a 'pollutant', and it's legal treatment is a matter of political definition, but that does not change the true science or reality of it's global effects on our climate, and related geopolitical 'side effects'..
Yep, we exhale CO2 with every breath, but overall it accounts for 80% of total greenhouse gas emissions; 20% = methane etc etc.. and it's not coming from living things exhaling.. Power plants, cars etc are the true culprits. 'Defining' something is just a play of words and does not change it's effects - BUT the choice no regulate, or not, does.. Just like the effects of tobacco use were denied by big tobacco forever - until.. The culprits have known about the side effects of CO2 emissions for more than decades but it is not in their financial to fess up - until....
