Sea level measured at the Key West gauge has risen approximately 3.9 inches from 2000 to 2017. According to the graph, the mean sea level rise is projected to be the following:

10 to 17 inches from 2000 to 2040 (sea levels have already risen 4 inches through 2017, this means a net additional 6 to 13 inches is projected from 2018 to 2040.)

Sand does not stop rising sea levels, it does put a band aid on erosion. If it was truly rising A1a would have been under water a long time ago no matter how much sand they put there. I lived in Patrick in the late 70's, doesn't look much different now. If it was rising they would need dikes, not beac renourishment. You may be smart but you definitely do not have any common sense.
