All this talk about abortion being in the Bible. That's great that you conform to that thinking. You don't like it? Don't do it.
But this here is the US of A, where there is "Separation of Church and State." So you DO NOT have the right to make your religious beliefs become LAW upon the rest of the country. If you open that Pandora's box, you open it up for ALL religions to have their beliefs become law on ALL of us. I guess that the other atrocities spoken in the Bible are fair game too? That means rape being Legal? Anti-abortion legislation in 5 states gives rapists and their families the right to sue abortion providers for at least $10k In Texas, Idaho, Tennessee, Ohio and Oklahoma, bounty-style laws banning abortion offer no exceptions for rape or incest and, in some cases, may offer rapists and their families more rights than pregnant women. The unique bills deputize citizens to sue and pursue civil damages from people who perform, "aid," or "abet" abortions, including doctors, nurses, and even Uber drivers who knowingly transport patients to their abortion appointment. The laws do not penalize individuals for getting an abortion, but instead target those who may help them get one. Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts wants to ban abortion in his state, and he wants that ban to apply to victims of rape.
"Nebraska, your state, does not have a so-called trigger law on the books. But there was an effort, as you know, to pass one," Dana Bash said in a Sunday interview with Ricketts. "It failed by only two votes last month. The abortion ban that you tried to pass did not include any exceptions for rape or incest." Sometimes a fetus dies in the womb. The pugs would force the mother to continue to carry the baby until it is stillborn. Day in, day out, the mother reminded of the dead fetus inside her, but unable to remove it in order to satisfy the sick religious fanatics.
