Oh, the delegates and super delegates thing. Yeah, that's some electoral college level bull shit. But, would Bernie have won the primary on a national level anyway, if it was solely based on a popular vote?

And, following the adoption of new party rules in 2018, superdelegates may no longer vote on the first ballot at a contested convention.

In 2016 Sanders won every county in WV, but the Party used "unpledged" delegates to give the state to Clinton.

The counterpoint from Scom is an NBC News report that some Sanders voters intended to vote for Trump in the general election, and that's being used as justification for the party to manipulate the outcome.

It's old news, just popped up in the video on my Twitter feed and reminded me why I don't belong to the Dem Party.

Essentially true but you're incorrect in terms of what they promise, it sure as hell isn't "the world". Even then, those promises disappear as soon as the dust settles. Oh they'll always pay some lip service, suggest that the priorities of the donor class are addressed first and then we'll get back to healthcare and education "later"; or it's "too much, too soon.... baby steps".

I like Bernie, but as President, he'd have no better luck getting progressive policies through congressional roadblocks than Biden or Hillary. Remember when Obama started his term fighting for a public option, but the ACA was negotiated down to not much more than another corporate handout to the insurance industry? Have to do the legwork of getting public opinion on our side and cleaning up corruption first. That's a long way off and seems more likely we keep sliding to far right as they're far better at brainwashing the public and buying elections.
