Here's the deal: Dr. Fauci was/is seen as a person of respect. We can look back at 2020 and hear and see his well reasoned approach of caution and empathy. This runs completely counter to the messaging from T'rump: who was in denial initially and then downplayed the spread and then began a blame game - where he actually said "I don't take responsibility at all" - denied the severity until he got the virus. The aftermath will be clear. T'rump will be seen as the loser he is and Dr. Fauci will be seen as a voice of reason.
