President Biden's budget proposal released Friday takes aim at specific tax provisions that benefit the fossil fuel industry and projects that eliminating these measures will generate $35 billion over the course of a decade.

The new $6 trillion budget proposal is a more detailed proposal than the "skinny" version released last month, which had called for spending an additional $14 billion on tackling climate change and proposed funding increases for the Energy Department, Interior Department and Environmental Protection Agency.

Just a quick note on ethanol/corn crap. Ethanol replace methyl tertbutyl ether MTBE, bad stuff, as a fuel oxygenate due to the Bush era Energy Act of 2005. Earlier, MTBE had replaced tetraethyl lead, worse stuff, in gas as an octane booster. So, ethanol is a better product in environmental terms than either of the previous ones. It's renewable and makes cleaner exhaust. Yes, some devices, plastics not designed for ethanol especially, suck with ethanol in gas. On the other hand, we run E-85, 85% ethanol, vehicles all over KSC and have for a decade or more with no problems. Depends on design. The 10% in gas should not have any effect on a recent device built to handle ethanol fuels.
