I just saw a ranking by state of average life expectancy. it seems the longest lifespans are in states that lean Democrat with Hawaii leading the way followed by California and New York. It seems that the bottom 10 at least were all solid Republican.

Better diets, less drugs and better healthcare. I'm betting most of the bad ones blocked Medicaid expansion and shut down all of their pregnancy planning clinics.

yep, top ten states, all Democrat, bottom ten, the heart of the Republican base. Don't vote republican, they will just let you get sick and die.
