Heard some folks blazing away over on BRL at first legal shooting light this morning. They must have found something over by Thousand Islands. Shooting stopped by sun up though so it must not be very good. Duck situation is bleak over here in Rockledge section of the IRL. Might have to load up Wenonah and head to Fellsmere, too bad the district signed those deeds with FJV that prohibit hunting on the south end of that property. It is duck paradise down on the old flooded out hay fields.

That area has always been productive especially before they did the C-54 west extension draining many of the original marsh, but I had a flight of about 50 fly over last week.

banana river is a legit sess pool. I cant believe people are not more outraged at their local politicians. All the things I loved to do on those waters are done; fishing seems wrong at this point, wakeboarding/skurfing hell no! kayaking and paddleboarding, sandbar chillen its all so gross. Any residents know if it is still a discussion or did everyone give up?
Even the water in and around the port had the same greenish gray hue. How come thousands of trumpers can show up for boat parades for that douche but cant have a boat protest for the water? Bunch of wanna be "outdoorsman". ------------------------- I troll 2L.com to be a better person in real life Edited: 11/30/2020 at 09:10 AM by stokedpanda |

Pray that a storm cuts an inlet somewhere and flushes the cesspool.

From FDEP: "A bloom of an unidentified marine/estuarine nanocyanobacterium continues within the northern part of the Indian River Lagoon (IRL) system. This bloom has been causing greenish water discoloration. Additional testing and sampling by FWRI and other partners is ongoing throughout the IRL. For more sampling results related to this bloom, please visit https://floridadep.gov/algalbloom. "

Totally agree with you, Panda.
I used to really enjoy boating and sailing in the rivers. Now, i like going for boat rides but have no desire to get into the river water any more. we'll catch fish off the dock, but not even a thought about eating them. It is a sad situation. ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |
