Just remember that the "elections have consequences" refrain works both ways. Don't invoke the honor, integrity or morality that the GOP abandoned when they get pummeled by a newly elected democratic majority hellbent on exacting their political revenge with the same rationale.

LOL, okay. So, if you can't win within the confines of the rules, then you just change the rules? It is a President's job to appoint replacement nominees to the supreme court while he or she is in office. Nowhere does it say that the President isn't supposed to appoint replacement nominees during his or her 4th year in office or the 8th year in office. That's why it has been tried nearly every time this situation has come up. I'm buying stock in ice cream because I'm pretty sure that the Democrats are going to make it so 6-year olds can vote before this is all over with. Pretty soon Democrats are going to make it so they all get to hit from the ladies' tee box.
