No races in Canada, USA, or Mexico this year. Not safe, they're ate up with COVID with no leadership.

But there will be a race at Imola this year so that's cool.

So let me get this straight.

One man...one car.

Don't need spectators.

The epitome of stupidity.

Smart move. There is no way to protect the huge pit crews and all the support staff.

I was right.

F1 is a HUGE spectator sport. Last year over 4million spectators attended the 21 events. That is about 190k on average per event. No small thing.

Been to the Long beach grand prix a couple of times, first time they were still running F1 cars before switching to indy cars. The LBGP is super fun.

I'd love to go to a modern F1 Event. That is some real racing.

The cost of campaigning a F1 car demands the audience. It is crazy expensive to run a F1 team. If one of their guys gets Covid it could bring the whole team down with sickness or quarantine.

So, it makes perfect sense to cancel the high risk venues.

Moto is a TV sport and people quit watching NASCAR so they are in desperation mode.

F1 will be racing in the safer countries. I still miss the V12 scream though. Turbo 6 just isn't the same.

Agreed. different type of racing but love the boats running the RR Merlin V12 engines. That is as good as it gets sound wise.
There are a couple of P-51 Mustangs that fly out of Kissimmee, Crazy Horse and Crazy Horse 2, and have been there to watch. Just listening to them is thrilling.
