I grew up watching / listening to Song of The South.

It is a great story, but only a dotard would think it is appropriate for today's times, or even way back when they pulled it.

You really can't have a "tar baby" in a Disney film for fuck's sake.

I *kinda* would like to see it redone properly, but it just has too many triggers for people, so best to let it lie.

That's the thing that dotards like Crankkky don't realize- just because it doesn't have unpleasant reactions *for you*.. doesn't mean it isn't uncomfortable for others.

I have only positive memories of Aunt Jemima Syrup - shit is tasty.

But if I grew up with dickwad bully kids calling me or my Mom "Aunt Jemima" for years- I'd feel otherwise.

It's no skin off my ass to get rid of a stupid name if it can help someone else feel more comfortable in *everyone's* America

Dotards have a problem putting on other people's shoes. They can't understand how things can affect different people differently. They are limited mentally, and as a result cling to things like the Confederate Flag because it doesn't bother *them* and they get all dumb and defensive if they find out it does bother someone else.
