In upset for Democrats, liberal ousts Trump-backed judge for Wisconsin Supreme Court seat


Karofsky upset Dan Kelly, who was endorsed by Republican President Donald Trump, for a 10-year court term that could help decide future voting rights and redistricting issues in Wisconsin, a vital general election battleground.

Democrats said a flurry of Republican legal challenges blocking efforts to postpone last Tuesday's in-person voting had backfired badly, and accused Republicans of putting political priorities over public safety.

"Despite the result, the fact that this in-person election took place was a searing loss for Wisconsin," said Ben Wikler, chairman of the Wisconsin Democratic Party. "Wisconsin voters will not forget this travesty."

They are so worried about social issues and shoving religion into our lives that they are blind to everything else in the world. Years of anti abortion legislation and little to nothing else. Fuck em, they deserve to lose.

Just compare things now to how they were in the 80's for example.

And the South Dakota governor had very encouraging discussions with Jared Kushner yesterday. So the governors that align with Trump are consulting Kushner and not medical experts. SD is special. It takes a lot of effort to have a hotspot when your entire state has less people in it than Volusia+Seminole counties. Sure rural states don't need to do the same thing at a dense population like NYC but obviously they need to do more than listen to a flunky like Kushner.
