That's not a shoe dropping. It's bullshit. Rudy is now Michael Cohen. Trump took him for ride and Rudy never saw it ending here.

His big mouth has gotten his master in trouble. That's all it took to get Nancy involved. She knew, sooner or later, one of those blowhards will get over confident and spill their guts. Looks like both of them. TrumPutin is so skeert she called her to stop investigating.

I think she did the math, and figured trump's 38-40% is locked in. They literally don't care if he breaks the law. There's no up or down side to impeachment with them. But ignoring blatant abuse of power makes the Dems look weak.
It's a bit of a gamble, but I think she figures fighting the corruption even if there's no chance of a conviction due to jury nullification in the Senate still might motivate the Dem and Indy folks to vote.

Absolute power in the executive branch is something the founders specifically wanted to avoid, and that's what we stand on the brink of.
