This all reeks of orchestration by the Trump camp. Trump can play games all day long until the journalists in this country get back to the basics and do their jobs by verifying their sources. Shame on the media and for Democrats for playing into their hands. This says more about the state of the media in our country than politics. Unless he's just desperate to get the impeachment going, but still doesn't fit his MO................It might be better for Trump to get the Impeachment going NOW then wait until 30 days before the election.................Think about Pelosis track record..........She knew about the allegations against Kavenau for six months but waited until %90 of the confirmation hearing were complete before trotting them out.............This is the first time I've actually thought that maybe Trump did something to warrant an Impeachment inquiry.................Maybe................So Trump asked a foreign government to look into a past 'offence' by Biden about his son, trigger.........Governments all have a mechanism to do exactly this same thing.....We probably deal with many different governments and ask for and provide criminal and technical information....We have to have this sort of exchange of information...............I would assume it is through diplomatic channels and maybe through department of homeland security..............So, who has the authority to make the request for information.......................Congress might be able to direct somebodyelse to make the request but I don't think Congress can directly contact a foreign government and make the request themselves.......So the Administrative branch of Government is the only Branch that can directly contact a foreign power to request information........ Under what circumstances is the Administrative branch ALLOWED to ask a foreign government to look into something?.... Is there a Process or restriction on when and how the Administration can ask for information?....Is there a restriction on what kind of information they can look for?........SO...here's the thing, the transaction itself, the request for information is NOT impeachable..... What can they use from this to get Trump impeached?.... Campaign laws......Did Trump, misuse his office in asking for the information, in violation of US Campaign laws???.... That might fly..............Lets do this thing..................Impeach Trump, swear in Pence....... Go forth with the next Election........IF, Pence finishes Trumps term of office, he can still be elected to the Presidency 2 more times, right? So 1.5 years and 8 years..... Oh Hell yes.... Impeach TRUMP... lets do this guys, where do I sign up???

I'm curious as to why Pelosi would announce the impeachment inquiry yesterday and not just wait a day for the transcript. If the Democrats' defense is going to be that they don't believe the transcript, then that isn't going to work well for them. Were the Democrats THAT eager or is there any strategy involved in this decision at all.

The lefty play book is so predictable its embarrassing. All they got is a the Hail Mary and a cheer leading squad that can only scream "Racist." The "transcript" isn't a transcript, it's a 5 page memo which is clearly marked as not a verbatim transcript. But it looks shitty as hell for trump.

But it doesn't take the place of the whistle blower's complaint, which at the moment I think is being withheld? In spite of law stating "shall produce" to Congress.
