If you ever travel internationally and have access to the Duty Free store, you GOTTA try Ron Centenario XX (twenty year old). It sips like a light syrup, and goes down wonderfully.

It's wrapped in a light brown leather bottle (tall, not short bottle), and it sold for $40 a few years ago in the Duty Free shop.

Anyone headed to Costa, pick me up a bottle, I'll pay extra!

It's smooth. It's a bit sweet. My friend who comes with me to Costa Rica buys the Cuban cigars and drinks that neat. He dips the end right in and chomps on it too. I think the smoke counteracts the sweetness and snottiness makes the bottle drop like it's leaking.

Cool. I like sweet.

I keep threatening to buy a bottle of Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire, but I'm afraid I'll suck the bottle down and not respect the $150 price tag.

The Blackwells is not a sweet mess. It's a very good rum. Sips well. It's a great addition.

No idea. I started this whole thing at total wines because they had the ratings on the price. I went with highest rating and lowest price.

If you have some cheap stuff you need to mix, try this. I've been drinking it thru the holiday season.

Ron Zacapa is my go to sipping rum. $40 a bottle or so. The XO variety is $100+ but excellent for sipping.
