Listened to new album start to finish while biking. Really good music. Enjoyed it for a first listen. Lots of different stuff going on. Sounds like they just sat around and jammed. Really good recording as well. All the instruments are well mixed. Can't wait for a 2nd listen now!

Did another bike ride yesterday and listened to the new album again. It's starting to sink in that this album is pretty good with a lot of depth to it. One song that has emerged that may be their first 'single hit' is poster child.

I've listened to the new album almost every day at work. Liked it the first time which is rare. Love it after a dozen listens. Always liked the pepps but honestly just listened to what they played on radio. This is the first RHCP album I have actually bought. Its super good, easy to listen too and has a great variety. My son has tickets to the Orlando show, right up front behind the pit. He's stoked. If you want to hear another super good rock album give Mammoth WVH debut a listen. I would rate that one as excellent even if it was not EVH son. Cheers!

Son was at the show last night and based on some videos he sent and a convo this morning, it was quite the event. Two hour delay due to storms, they came out while it was still raining with the energy of a bunch of twelve year olds and proceeded to blow up the Camping World stadium. "Epic" is the term used multiple times in his description. How many does that place hold? He said you couldnt see an empty seat plus the grass was packed. 65,000? Whole concert is available online. Said Flea did most of the talking and wore a kilt, and at one point did a headstand and walked across the stage. Still crazy and still killing it. Cheers!

Said Flea did most of the talking and wore a kilt,

Wasn't a kilt, it was a dress. The handstand was pretty cool. I was actually surprised he had on skivies underneath. You could tell Anthony's voice was nearly gone. I suspect there was some vocal support from the sound engineers, but they still killed it. John and Flea groove so well together. They played a great mix of new and old stuff. I'm pretty sure I screwed something important up in my neck jamming out, but totally worth it.

The Strokes performance was cut short and the singer was pissed about it. After the first song they told them they had 10 minutes left.

The rain sucked, but at least it made it nice and cool.

60 minutes did a spot on them Sunday. I didn't realize Ant and Flea are in their 60's.

Not bad ,,,,, but sounds like about, 75 other RHCP's songs to me.
