If the Gators can pull off a victory against Texas, Napier will get a reprieve. For a little while. All the guys on game day were lamenting how fast coaches get fired, how short sighted that is and what a good coach Napier is. I disagree. He should have hired an offensive coordinator and learned about how time outs are strategically used. I would also suggest throwing off any player that spits in another opposing teams players face. As for the Gators, I have absolutely no faith in Stricklin. He hit a home run with Golden, but b-ball is different, and he has pretty much struck out everywhere else, not just with football coaches. Same with Foley. He hit a home run with Billy D., but his other coaching hires sucked across all sports with the exception of Meyer who was forced on him by Bernie Machin (who had just come from Univ of Utah where Meyer was).
