So, I got to Nashville Monday late afternoon. Got to hotel, drop of my bag and went across the street to Martin's Bar-B-Que joint. Had not been there in 2 years. Get to the bar and start pulling a chair out and, , , the bartender says "Hey, where have you been?" It was Tom who I had not seen in 2 1/2 years!! He was not working the days I was there in July 2022.

Tuesday morning about 20 vials for 'labs' in the Stem Cell Transplant Clinic and then downstairs to Imaging for a DEXA Scan for bone density. The steroids that they give during the transplant process can and do 'deplete' your bones.

Tuesday night, , , , , I had VIP tickets to The Ryman, 3rd row center, and its Ford Lounge. The Ford's open bar is TOP SHELF and was very pleasing. I was there to see Post Modern Jukebox start their '10th Anniversary Tour' with my 'friend' Sara Niemietz as a featured performer. Wow!!!!!!!! It was my first time being in Nashville's 'Mother Church', my first time seeing PMJ and my first time seeing Sara in person! And, after the show she came out to meet me and 3 of her other FB 'friends'. So good.

I met with my SCT Long Term Care Nurse Practitioner Rachel and my SCT Doc Savani yesterday. My blood numbers are Perfect, considering what I went through. And, I otherwise have not and do not have a single 'problem'! My bone desity scan 2 years ago showed that I had a 'touch' of osteopenia from the steroids used during the SCT but, I now show none! She sorta gave me a 'not sure how that can happen' comment!!!! She told me that 'they' are amazed at how well I am doing! Then when my Doc Savani came in, it was over-the-top for me. He basically told me that I am fucking kicking cancer's Fucking Ass! I am still a Success Story. And, to 'sum it up' he told me that it is because of cases like mine (in The Book) that Vanderbilt is once again ranked #1 in the country by the US Government, based on 'success rates' and 'survival' !!!!!!

So, once again boys and girls, I know that everybody wants to have 'the best doctor at the hospital' and so do I but, , , , , my Stem Cell Transplant doctor has the biggest dick in the game! Oh and, as I've told you before, , , , Rachel is matter-of-factly regarded by the Directors of the Nation's leading SCT providers as being Number One in the World for what she does!!!!!
