Flew to Nville on the 7th and did two (2) days of every test they had, , , , flew home on Saturday the 10th. Everything was OK other than there was a tiny "glitch" on my EKG. Crap. They're pretty sure it is a glitch but, I do have to go to Lake Nona this Thursday morning for a cardiac nuclear stress test! My Nville VA Transplant Nurse asked me ", , , , you haven't had a heart attack in the past two weeks have you, , , ,?" LOL LOL LOL

Otherwise, if the nuke test is OK, I fly up to Nville on May 11th and start the process. My tentative Zero Day (transplant day) is June 7th.

Had my compulsory "Nuclear Cardiac Stress Test" yesterday at the Lake Nona VA. If everything is OK, I will get ready to fly to Nashville, , , ,. If not, , , , , the VA will put my ragged butt through EVERY cardiac procedure and test they have!!! Fook!

The VA has "activated" my Donor so, it won't be long now and I'll be off to Nashville.

The Donor can't meet the schedule that the VA wanted and, as such, his "new" date puts me outside of the "60 day window" since my last check-up in Nashville, , , , so, , , ,! I need to fly to Nville on June 2nd, have new Bone Marrow Biopsy and blood work on June 3rd, and fly home on June 4th. Then, , , , , , If All Goes Well, , , , I will be back in Nville on July 5th to start the Real Thing.

UPDATE:

Probably won't have to go to Nville on June 3rd. The Lake Nona VA is trying to work me in for a BMB there, no matter.

My nurse laid out a pretty precise Nashville schedule for me but, 8 fooking days of chemo!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

--07/05/21: Arrive Nashville
--07/06/21: eval #3 + Bone marrow
--07/07/21: testing
--07/08/21: nothing
--07/09/21: see MD
--07/10/21: nothing
--07/11/21: nothing
--07/12/21: preadmits and nothing to eat or drink after 2200
--07/13/21: PICC line placement
--07/14/21: Day -8: fludarabine (outpatient) and then admit to hospital
-07/15/21: Day -7: fludarabine
-07/16/21: Day -6: fludarabine
-07/17/21: Day -5: fludarabine & Busulfan
-07/18/21: Day -4: fludarabine & Busulfan
-07/19/21: Day -3: fludarabine
-07/20/21: Day -2: thymoglobulin
-07/21/21: Day -1: thymoglobulin
-07/22/21: Day 0: stem cell infusion
-07/23/21à ________: D+1 to D+100: stay in Nashville for post-transplant follow up and recovery

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to ring the Chemo Bell yesterday!!!

Completed 50 days of the Vidaza chemo since January 2020!!! 2 injections every visit!!

My MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes) is not cured and will otherwise stick to me until I get the Bone Marrow Stem Cell Transplant in July. So, I'm getting ready to spend 4 months in Nashville!!!

--05/24/21: BMBx local: done
restart bridging chemo locally

Donor:

collect 6/15/21
