Really? I guess Vicks and all those other lozenge manufacturers have been ripping us off for decades.

Yep.

I'm aghast. Mortified and appalled. Stunned, I tells ya.

ok, if you people really want to know, zinc inhibits the replicase of the virus RNA when it can get into the cell. Chloroquine is an ionophore (just as quercetin that is over the counter) that enables zinc to get into the cell to stop the virus from replicating. It is all out there. Look up Roger Seheult on medcram. He discussed this prolly over a month ago. Just gobbling zinc will not get your cells saturated as it needs to be let into the cells. you piss it out just as you do vitamin C when you try to saturate.

Absolutely, The MedCram Channel brought up the ionophore research at least a month ago to discuss the hype about Hydrochloroquine.

Referring back to the original post. Finding a safe ionophore to use instead of choloquine, Hydrochloroquine and Quinine is what the post is about. Thus, the connection to Persian Shallot which contains high levels of pyrithione. Which is being currently researched as an ionophore.

Ortho vitamin/mineral therapy is best accomplished under a physicians supervision and is another conversation.

quercetin is interesting stuff. strong evidence that it acts as a senolytic in vivo and is currently in a trial with a formulation with dastanib for treatment of a couple of 'diseases of aging' so to speak. i know it has effect on copper toxicity which seems to be at odds at first glance with zinc inhibition. looks like i have something new to read up on

Great thoughts RiddleMe! Looks like zinc inhibition can be self induced and overcome by fermentation of food that contains zinc.

Dietary factors influencing zinc absorption.
