That is what it said for mine also.

Not sure why they didn't or couldn't direct deposit as they do
with my Social Security.

Ohhh well....

Payment Status

We scheduled your check to be mailed on April 24, 2020 to the address we have on file for you.

It's ok, no worries.

I'll have millions in a few days.
Two days ago I got a fax from a lawyer in Canada that
found a long lost relative I didn't know I had.

There is an inheritance of $12 million waiting for me.
I submitted all the required info, bank info, SSN, etc etc.
And they only requested $3500 to process.

It will be deposited to my account within 60 days.

Also, it wasn't from Nigeria so I KNOW it was legit.

Yup soon to be a BIG PARTY.

Tried the web site, it turns out we might not be eligible. There was no explanation.

The eligibilty comes simply from your gross income in either 2018 or 2019 whichever you last filed.

Only way you will be ineligible is if you made past 200k gross filing jointly.

Otherwise, they just dont have your data ready yet, so keep checking back.

Correction, that would be Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Could be a big difference be AGI and one's actual gross income.

Another possible scenario ...If you had to pay taxes in 2018 and you have not filed yet for 2019 then you are in Limbo, they do not have a Bank Account to send the check to since you sent them a check.

Yep, I paid in last year. I owe for this year and have withheld payment since they won't force collection till July. With my luck, they will write in a new tax break right when I send them the cash. lol

Hey Cole you may want to try again, I did this AM expecting no change but now it asked for my banking info (and yes I was on the official IRS site)...hoping to get a check sent before July.

I guess that's just their new way of saying that I will probably get it sometime, maybe. lol

If I get it, it goes to medical bills. I'm nonplussed either way.

Went back to "get my payment" at the IRS - got in immediately (1:40am EST)

put my info in again, and this time they wanted my direct deposit info.

Also had to enter my AGI and what I owed from my 2018 tax return (havent filed 2019 yet)

Entered it all and it looks like I will be getting it via DD soon..
