Since it won best movie of the year award (2019) I was curious to watch it. It is on Amazon prime. It is a korean made movie with all english subtitles. So, if you watch it put all your devices and distractions away. You can't watch it without reading the subtitles.

To me, the movie was great. Cinematography really good, acting great, and the storyline is unique and keeps you guessing. It is a movie you want to watch to the end.

No trailer will give the movie away as it there are some plot twist and the movie slowly reveals itself and why it is called 'parasite'.

I give it two thumbs up.

I watch nearly as many foreign movies and TV shows as I do domestic. I cannot stand watching dubbed films so I always watch with subtitles because I like the authentic voices/sounds. The more you watch the better you get at reading those subtitles and you hardly notice them any more. I get a kick out of the translations too. Spanish and Italian movies are great because I know most of the languages and get to learn more of it as well. Anyway, there are so many positive reasons for watching foreign films, learning culture, geography, language, customs, trends etc etc. I highly recommend it. If any of you want recommendations for other incredible foreign films or TV shows, just hit me up. Can't wait to watch Parasite.
