Go in to PROFILE>PERSONAL OPTIONS tab. Then scroll down to EDITOR TYPE and change from HTML to WYSIWYG. That should fix it.

Disadvantage with Firefox is that you can't cut and paste. Could work with IE though, I don't know.

Lounger, that did work however you are right that I have lost any ability to cut / copy & paste.

I did get a window from FF that seemed to have a fairly complex way to change FF pref's and get around this.

Or, maybe I will download that new Google browser and check it out. A lot of my nerdy / techy friends really like it

Thanks, Lounger.  Mea culpa for forgetting the procedure.

If the forum software is working on Firefox, the huge toolbar should have past icons for text (T) and Word (W).  They're left of the binocular icon.  It's a bit of a nuisance to use these for cut & paste, but not a big nuisance.

no biggie. someone else on here told me how to do it but I can't remember who.

Copy and cut & paste can be done with the clipboard icons on the toolbar.  I tried the Firefox instructions for allowing cut & paste and didn't succeed.
