A buddy got hit by a stingray in the river and it became ungodly infected, but it all worked out.
After that i shuffle feet like crazy but there is always that risk. Weird how it is now a thing in California. ------------------------- If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD WAS MUSIC - KV |

Sting rays are no fun. Even a small one carries a nasty punch.
Here's the news folks: the water is getting warmer. Sea level is rising. My Santa Barbara/Oxnard fishing friends have been seeing socal/mexico food fish waay further north. Last time I flew out of orange county (yuck!) beaches were swarmed with tons of weird red "tuna crabs" Yep, following warmer water ------------------------- spindrift |

A friend got stabbed wade fishing in the Banana River off of Merritt Island. Emergency room and long recovery. This was many years ago. But, yea, can't step on them.
