Time and Date: Tuesday, Oct 29th, 2024: Arrive 3:45 to 4 pm: Rally before and after Driftwood meeting at Driftwood Hilton until dusk. Location: Lori Wilson North Park - rally on Sidewalk along A1A, 1500 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 I have ordered 50 yards signs from @JetPressCocoaBeach for the Rally- or you can make your own sign too. First Come First Serve (with stakes for your yard after) - I'll be there at 3:30 pm to setup. Donations $10 welcome towards cost of sign/stake. Meeting to follow 5pm (if you can attend) to say no to Driftwood Hilton Hotel (which is just north of Lori Wilson); Driftwood wants to present their use of the park to residents. Driftwood Hilton (north) and Westin (south) want to use Lori Wilson as an extension of their amenities with golf cart road connecting their resorts to the park - which will use parking. Driftwood wants EXCLUSIVE USE of Lori Wilson South 100 days on weekends that you will NOT be able to surf or kiteboard or your family use of park. Lori Wilson was funded with state and federal grants which REQUIRES Public Use in perpetuity and Conservation.
